Mayor Engr. Eloy C. Eclar of Gerona is winning this year's Most Outstanding Mayor in Tarlac awarded by Tarlac Media Association on Monday September 18, 2017. The award recognizes Gerona with a Seal of Good Governance for goodwill, transparency, accountability, social responsibility, and environment.

ADVERTISEMENT Bus Accident in Tarlac City Fourteen people were injured and four people dead as of now Sunday (July 23, 2017)  after a passenger bus crashed into UV Express along Mc Arthur Highway in Brgy. Aguso Tarlac City. The bus reportedly rammed into the highway side due to loose brakes. Bus conductor was rushed to the hospital after obtaining rib fractures when he jumped off the bus. Four passengers were admitted to the Tarlac Provincial Hospital for close monitoring. Most of the passengers were from Tarlac.
