In a simple award, Lacson identified the so-called "ideal citizen of Concepcion, Tarlac" Arlan Sotto Sampang, 21, of Barangay Alfonso. Mr. Sampang is a member of the Hotel Sogo Dau Branch in Dau, Mabalacat, Pampanga. Sampang saw a bag containing P2.4 Million cash, checks and important documents in a businessman's room, rather than interrogation, which she informed immediately of the hotel's leadership. After more than a day, the businessman returned to the hotel just in case he could see his money and important documents, but his bag was completely empty. By: Central Luzon News Center | Nelson Bolos This was the comment of PSupt Joel Mendoza on the arrest of 5 of the 6 youngsters who robbed 2 elementary schools and 3 stores here. In his report to Tarlac Police Provincial Director PSSupt Ritchie Posadas, Mendoza identified those apprehended as Benedictus Pabayaan, 15, Johnny Garce, 16, both of Brgy Pob. Norte, Jeromeo Cruz, 15, Brgy Salumague, Joselito Sares, 18, Brgy. Samput, Jarvey Fernadez, 16, Brgy. Estacion (not their real names) and Raymark Dupitas, 19, Brgy. Patalan Dupitas remains at large while their leader identified as Angelito Yamar, former kagawad of Barangay Pob. Norte, from whose house he looted items were recovered, was also arrested. Mendoza revealed the robbery group were apprehended in the follow-up investigation on the burglary of the Tablang Elementary School and the Tiansing Sari-sari store last October 9. 1 DAY ANTI-DRUG OPPERATION:14 ARRESTED, 2 KILLED, 31 SACHETS, 2 GUNS SEIZED IN TARLAC CITY

By: Central Luzon News Center | Nelson Bolos In another successful simultaneous anti-drugs operation by the Tarlac Police Provincial Office (TPPO), 14 suspected pushers were arrested and 2 others were killed in a shoot-out from whom a total of 31 sachets of shabu and marijuana and 2 guns were seized. The one-day province-wide operation was led by TPPO Director PSSupt Ritchie Medardo Posadas and is part of the police’s Oplan Double Barrel Reloaded. Posadas said, “we were not expecting a shoot-out, but 2 of the targeted drug personalities refused to surrender and shot our policemen, hence, they were killed”. The armed encounter happened in Barangay San Fernando, Victoria town, between the joint operatives of the Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) headed by PSupt Luis Ventura Jr and the Victoria Police Station and the 2 drug peddlers. By: Central Luzon News Center | Nelson Bolos Thus, said PSupt Joel Mendoza when the police here recovered P175,000 worth of jewelries and a cellphone stolen by 3 kids aged 11, 12 and 13 years from 2 houses. In his report to Tarlac Police Director PSSupt Ritchie Posadas, Mendoza identified the victims as Teresita Sumaong Adams and her brother Alexander Sumaong who live in a family compound in Barangay Samput in Paniqui, Tarlac Adam was robbed of her jewelries inside her bedroom in her house last August 16, while Sumaoang of his cellphone also inside of his own house yesterday. The 3 kids, who all also live in Barangay Samput, were nabbed when they robbed Sumaoang whose house is just next to Adam’s. Upon being accosted, Juan, Pedro and Jose admitted of stealing Adam’s jewelries inside her own bedroom in August 16, around 2PM.
